I’m David, the photographer behind DMJB Photography. I’m based in Greater Manchester and photograph weddings across Manchester, Liverpool and the rest of the world.

What I love most about weddings is everything that happens naturally throughout the day. The nerves before the ceremony, the people trying not to cry, the loud laughs, the hugs, the kids doing whatever they want, and all those little moments happening in the background. That’s the stuff I’m always looking for.

I’m naturally relaxed behind the camera too. I’ll step in when you need me, organise everyone when it’s time for group photos and give you some direction when we’re creating portraits, but I don’t want photography to take over your wedding. For most of the day, I’d much rather let you enjoy yourselves while I capture everything going on around you.

And if you’re someone who usually hates having their photograph taken, that’s absolutely fine. You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job.
